The Really Cool Converse Club is just part of Tyler’s ongoing collaboration with Converse. Rule number two: if you must wear another shoe, don’t. Tyler, The Creator kicks-off the 2022 Converse All Star Series with a candid conversation about his creative processmusic, fashion, and what keeps him inspired. “I have no choice but to revoke your membership to the Really Cool Converse Club,” says comedian Josh Johnson, before doling out the punishment. The offending member – a greaser played by actor and SNL veteran Tim Meadows – has broken one of the club’s three cardinal rules: “Rule number one: never wear another shoe. Tyler and Converse set their sights on engineering a concept from the ground up, which ended with the latest GOLF le FLEUR collaboration. “We couldn’t come up with a name, so we decided to come up with the cheapest name, and it was funny as hell, so it worked out.” The club itself isn’t messing around though, and is seen putting a “delinquent” member on trial. “The name was not planned out,” Tyler tells Dazed. The newest sneaker, the Golf Le Fleur x Converse GLF 2.0, is officially slated to release this Thursday (June 9). The sneakers are set to be released in the color combinations of Oil Green and Bison, as well as Curry and Copper Tan.
